Automation Lab for Non-Destructive Inspection Now Open!
In collaboration with Shinko Co., Ltd. (Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture),
we have completed a demonstration lab dedicated to the automation of non-destructive inspection for spot welds.
The system combines Shinko’s robotic suspension unit “Contact-Pro® NS-III”
with Nippon Kouatsu Electric’s Nugget Profiler,
enabling fully automated inspection without the need for cameras or lasers—just simple robot teaching.
It achieves precise, “fit-and-measure” inspection in as little as 4 seconds.
A permanent demo setup is now available at Shinko’s headquarters lab.
We are accepting visitor applications at any time for companies interested in automation solutions.
